Amoxycillin & Sulbactam injection is a medication under the branding of PINOMOX-SB and is a combination of two medicines used to treat bacterial infections such as tonsillitis, sinusitis, and urinary tract infections. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is required for bacterial growth. Amoxycillin and Sulbactam are active against both beta-lactamase producer and nonproducer strains and are effective against Gram-positive cocci.
