Cefuroxime Axetil Injection refers to the combination of antibiotics called cephalosporin, indicated for treating a vast range of bacterial infections. Cefuroxime Axetil Injection is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that kills many bacteria. It kills the bacterial cell by binding to the outer layer of the bacteria and blocking the activity of the enzyme that makes peptidoglycan. As a result, the bacterial cell cannot develop and multiply and finally gets killed.

It helps treat urinary tract infections,  severe lower respiratory tract infections, Mild to moderate lower respiratory tract infections, pyelonephritis, uncomplicated gonorrhea, and Lyme disease in adults and children above 12 years of age.

Direction For Use

• Change the needle to a clean one of the same size.
• It is alright to use the drug already in the syringe.
• Inject the drug slowly.
