ACETA-N 500 consists of N-Acetylcysteine & Taurine Tablets that are used in the treatment of diabetic kidney disease. Out of the two active ingredients, N-Acetylcysteine is called a mucolytic agent which is also used in the treatment of lung diseases such as chronic bronchitis. It also acts as a protective agent against other Pharma drugs like paracetamol. A diabetic kidney disease is a form of kidney disease that is basically caused due to having diabetes or due to a sudden increase in blood sugar.
