Clodex-R is a combination of Rabeprazole, Clidinium Bromide, Dicyclomine Hydrochloride & Chlordiazepoxide. It is prescribed to give relief from the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine and works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Clidinium and Dicyclomine are antispasmodic medicines that relax the muscles in your stomach and gut. They stop sudden muscle contractions which relieve cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor and relieves acid-related indigestion and heartburn by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach.
