Aceclofenac & Thiocolchicoside Tablet is a combination of two drugs: Muscle relaxant thiocolchicoside and Aceclofenac which belong to the category of NSAID group. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant used for acting on the central nervous system and spinal cord. This is effective in reducing muscle rigidity thus enhancing muscle contractions to reduce pain stemming from muscle contraction.
Aceclofenac belongs to a class of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which is a pain reliever that prevents the release of certain substances in the body that cause inflammation and pain by reducing the activity of certain enzymes called cyclo-oxygenase enzymes.
