It is a combination of two medicines that is cefuroxime + sulbactam. Cefuroxime is an antibiotic and works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. And other medicine helps in reducing resistance and increasing the activity of cefuroxime.

Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate Cefuroxime.
